The following items are explicitly excluded from warranty coverage: opened or used accessories, consumables, and wear-and-tear items (including, but not limited to, deodorizer, filters, waste drawer liners, and cat litter), disposable items, and any other products explicitly marked as ineligible for warranty service on the product page or in the User Manual.
IdealZero provides a two-year (2) limited warranty for eligible products, beginning on the initial purchase date. This limited warranty only covers functional defects caused by flaws in materials or manufacturing workmanship when the product is used normally and in strict accordance with the instructions provided in the official User Manual. This limited warranty is extended exclusively to the original purchaser and is non-transferable.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, IdealZero reserves the right to update, modify, or interpret the terms of this warranty policy at its sole discretion.

Warranty Coverage
This limited warranty is valid only for the original purchaser and cannot be assigned or transferred. If a product experiences a functional failure due to defects in materials or workmanship within the warranty period under normal operating conditions, this warranty will apply. IdealZero reserves the right to determine whether to provide repair or replacement services based on the specific circumstances. Depending on the case evaluation, IdealZero may, at its sole discretion, provide a remedy including repairing, replacing with a brand-new unit, exchanging for a replacement unit of equivalent functionality, or issuing a refund.
To initiate a warranty service, customers must contact the IdealZero Customer Support team at support@idealzero.com and provide a valid proof of purchase containing the purchase date and product model, including:
-
Proof of Purchase (Order number, official invoice, or order screenshot)
-
Product Model Number
-
Product Serial Number (S/N)
-
Detailed Description of the Fault
-
Supporting Photos or Videos
How to Find the Serial Number?
You can find the serial number (S/N) using either of the following methods:
-
Check the physical barcode label located near the power input port on the main unit of the litter box device.
-
Once the device is successfully paired and connected to your Wi-Fi network, you can find the corresponding serial number within the "Device Information" section of the official mobile application.
Warranty Exclusions
-
Products whose warranty period has expired.
-
Normal wear and tear or cosmetic degradation resulting from regular usage, as well as components that naturally deplete or degrade over time (e.g., deodorizing consumables, filters, etc.).
-
Opened or used accessories, consumables, and disposable supplies are not covered by the warranty.
-
Vacuum-sealed cat litter that has lost its vacuum seal during transit. As long as the cat litter functions as intended and does not affect normal usage, the loss of vacuum packaging does not constitute a product quality defect.
-
Products purchased from unauthorized dealers or retailers. IdealZero strongly recommends purchasing exclusively through our official website or authorized channels to ensure full access to customer support and warranty services.
-
Products without valid proof of purchase (such as a missing order number or order screenshot).
-
Damage resulting from unauthorized repairs, disassembly, modifications, or maintenance.
-
Damage caused by misuse, abuse, accidental drops, liquid immersion, accidents, natural disasters, abnormal voltage supply, or failure to operate the product in accordance with the User Manual.
-
Damage caused by connecting the product to peripheral devices, external attachments, or accessories not recommended in the User Manual.
-
Products that have been exported, relocated, or used long-term outside the original country or region of purchase, resulting in the unavailability of regional after-sales support.
-
Damage sustained during transit due to inadequate packaging (regardless of whether original packaging was used). IdealZero highly recommends that customers use the original packaging whenever shipping the product back.
