Yes. B1 is designed for multi-cat households and comfortably supports 2–3 cats. Its 12L waste bin typically lasts up to 5 days, while the built-in AI camera can recognize up to 10 individual cats.
For homes with more than three cats, we recommend using two units.
B1 is designed for cats weighing 1.5 kg–10 kg(3.3–22 lb), from small breeds to medium-large cats like Maine Coons.
Kittens under 1.5 kg(3.3 lbs) will trigger the protection mode, which automatically disables auto-cleaning. During this period, you can use the manual button on the unit or trigger a clean remotely via the app — until they grow bigger.
Keeping litter filled up to the MAX line effectively prevents sticking.
B1's litter chamber features a fully enclosed, ultra-smooth interior — urine doesn't absorb in, and waste doesn't stick. A rinse cleans it right off. This is a world-first design, with a patent application filed.
Any standard bags from a regular store will work — no proprietary bags required (bags must be larger than 640×350 mm to fit the waste drawer; smaller bags may result in leaks).
Litter requirements: must be clumping, with granules ≤8 mm in diameter (bentonite, tofu, tapioca, or tofu-blend litters all work).
Non-clumping litters such as crystal or pine pellets are not compatible, as urine clumps cannot be sifted and removed.

However, the floor surface must be level — uneven placement can affect weighing accuracy and your cat's comfort while using the unit.
B1 must be plugged in. It comes with a 1.8 m adapter (12V, 1.5A).
Always use the original adapter to avoid incompatibility and potential damage to the unit.
B1 stops immediately. Multiple sensors and the AI camera monitor for any living being approaching the unit — once triggered, the machine halts and the drum returns to its home position.
If it cannot return to position within a timeout, the system automatically locks itself for safety and waits for manual intervention.
When the dual-layer sensors and AI camera both detect a cat inside the chamber, the machine stops immediately.

Choose a quiet corner where your cat feels safe — any level indoor surface works, whether against a wall or on carpet.
If you have an existing litter box, placing B1 next to it initially helps your cat adapt faster.
Avoid placing it near washing machines, dryers, or dehumidifiers — constant noise from those appliances can cause your cat to avoid the box.
From unboxing to your first auto-clean cycle, just three steps:
① Assemble: Follow the included setup guide to assemble the unit in approximately 5 minutes.
② Connect: Download the IdealZero App, power on the B1, and connect to your home Wi-Fi (5 GHz supported).
③ Fill: Once the initial calibration finishes, just pour in the cat litter and you're ready to go.
For a single cat, approximately every 15 days. For 2–3 cats, approximately every 4–5 days.
The large 12L waste bin is designed to minimize how often you need to deal with it. The app will notify you before it gets full.
*In hot summer months, we recommend emptying every 3–4 days (unless traveling) to prevent waste from sitting too long.
Waste drawer liners: replace each time you empty the waste drawer.
Odor-eliminating cubes: set your preferred deodorization frequency and duration directly in the app. One cube lasts about 30–60 days depending on your usage settings, and should be replaced once depleted.
All components except the main unit can be fully submerged and rinsed. The main unit cannot be submerged — it is IPX4 rated, so the exterior can be wiped down with a damp cloth (keep the power port dry).
Depending on usage, we recommend a deep clean every 1–3 months to give your cat the cleanest possible experience.
The entire process takes about 10 minutes with no tools required — LEGO-style disassembly, rinse and dry, reassemble and you're done.
Internet outage: B1 continues running normally. Auto-cleaning and safety sensors are unaffected. Data syncs to the app automatically once connectivity is restored.
Power outage: The unit stops running, but the litter chamber entrance remains physically open at all times, so your cat can freely enter and exit as normal. Once power is restored, the unit automatically resumes cleaning.
We offer three cleaning modes: Quick Clean, Deep Clean, and Soft Stool Mode — choose based on your cat's needs.
In Quick Mode, you can customize the cleaning delay. Reference settings:
Shorter (3 min): Prioritizes odor control — best for odor-sensitive households.
Longer (15+ min): Allows clumps to firm up fully for better clean results — ideal for cats with high urine output.
If you notice clumps sticking to the walls, do a full deep clean first, then increase the delay time.
Once the unit is connected to the app, you'll be able to see the specific issue and recommended solution directly in the app.

Yes. The anti-scatter panel included with the unit effectively reduces litter being kicked out by your cat.
We also recommend pairing B1 with the dedicated litter ramp, which further reduces litter carried out on your cat's paws.
The app sends push notifications in advance — you'll be alerted when the waste bin is approaching capacity, and reminded to top up litter when it drops below the recommended MIN line.
We recommend keeping litter filled to the MAX line to minimize sticking and reduce how often you need to do a deep clean.
Not currently, but the app will remind you to add litter manually when the level gets low.

Warranty coverage begins from the date of delivery to the original purchaser:
- B1 main unit: 2 years
- Litter mat: 2 years
- Consumables (litter, deodorizing refills, waste bags): not covered under warranty

We don't offer on-site repair, but if your unit has a defect within the warranty period, you won't need to fix it yourself — we'll send a replacement unit or replacement parts at no cost.
If your unit is out of warranty, contact us anyway and we'll help assess the best solution.
If your unit is past the warranty period, you're still welcome to contact us. We'll help evaluate whether a paid parts replacement or another solution is available.
Warranty for a replacement unit is calculated from the original purchase date — it does not reset. For example, if your unit is replaced at month 12, the replacement still has 12 months remaining on the original 2-year warranty.
For replacements due to product defects within the warranty period, we cover both inbound and outbound shipping — no additional cost to you.
For non-defect situations (e.g., damage caused by misuse), shipping costs may differ. The support team will confirm this on a case-by-case basis.
No, the warranty is valid only for the original purchaser and cannot be assigned or transferred.
The warranty covers manufacturing defects that arise during the warranty period.
The following are not covered: damage caused by misuse or accidents; normal wear and tear on accessories and consumables; and minor air leaks in vacuum-sealed litter bags caused by normal shipping vibration (not a product defect).

Yes. Please complete basic cleaning before sending it back: empty the litter chamber and waste drawer, and wipe down the exterior to remove dust and debris.
Please note: units returned in uncleaned condition will incura a reasonable cleaning fee (up to $70 per unit) deducted from your refund.
What is the return policy for non-B1 items?
Consumables and accessories (litter, deodorizing refills, waste bags, litter trapping ramp) cannot be returned after opening.
